Brian Cohee (age 21, born in 2002) is a convict guilty of murdering a homeless man named Warren Barnes. Cohee murdered Warren Barnes and then dismembered his body and hid it in his closet.

Warren Barnes, also known as “the reading man” in downtown Grand Junction, was a familiar figure often seen engrossed in books behind a local bridal shop or assisting store owners with various tasks.

Terri Cohee found Warren’s severed head and called the emergency number 911. After that, the police arrested Brian. He said he was not guilty because he was not in his right mind, but the jury said he was guilty, and now he is in jail for the rest of his life.

Brian is now held in the Buena Vista Correctional Complex. These days, Cohee is again in the news because of a documentary that is going viral. This video is called “Parents Discover Teen Son’s Horrifying Secret” and it was posted on YouTube on March 25, 2024.

In just a few days, it got 11 million views. The video shows what happened in detail, using camera footage from the police officers who were there.

She told the person on the phone that she found a head wrapped in plastic and some other bags with body parts inside. The person on the phone asked her many questions because it was a strange and scary situation.
